| A note from Dr. Wiggins In August 2006 I had the opportunity to visit Tupelo Children's Mansion. It was a life changing experience. I was impressed by the beautiful campus. The buildings and grounds were clean and well groomed. I had expected to find an orphanage with large sterile dorm rooms. What I found was a campus that was more like a community with multiple foster families. The children greeted us with genuine, warm smiles. Most of them come from the worst of family situations, but they seem to be thriving in this safe and caring environment. The houseparents and other staff were some of the kindest and lovingest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. They work for very little compared to what they could earn elsewhere, but they enjoy the love they receive from the children and the good feeling they get from making an incredibly positive impact on the lives of children. Tupelo Children's Mansion Ministries is a wonderful organization. I wholeheartedly endorse it. If you would like to support it with a monetary donation, click here. Your support will help make an incredible difference in the lives of these children. |
